Search Component Enhancements

We’ve introduced several powerful improvements to the Search Component, making it easier to deliver faster, more relevant, and personalized results.

Filters on Connection Fields

You can now apply filters to connection fields within search components—just like you do in forms.

• Smarter Dropdowns: Filter options to only show specific records, such as only those with Status = Active.

• Improved Precision: Helps users find exactly what they need without sifting through irrelevant results.
  
  

Dependent Dropdowns in Search

When working with multiple connection fields in a search component, you can now create dependent dropdowns.

• Dynamic Filtering: Select a value in one field (e.g., Make of a car), and automatically filter options in the next field (e.g., Model).

• Better UX: Speeds up complex searches and reduces user error.
  
  

Limit by User’s Company Connection

A new advanced feature allows you to limit search results based on the user’s connected company.

• Connection-Based Results: Only show data from companies the user is actually connected to.

• More Secure & Relevant: Offers a personalized experience beyond traditional user-based filters.
