Date Formulas in Basic Formulas

You can add the value from date formulas inside a basic formula.

For example, if you have invoice items where each item has a start and end date. You can use a date formula to calculate the total time (End date - Start Date). Then use a basic formula to multiply the time spent by an Hourly Rate.
