What File Types Are Allowed

Tadabase accepts most common file types — PDFs, Word and Excel docs, images, videos, audio files, archives, CSVs, and more. For most apps, you can upload whatever your users need to upload.

Some field types do enforce restrictions automatically. Image fields, for example, only accept image formats (like JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP). File fields, on the other hand, are flexible and accept a wide range of file types.

As an app builder, you can also configure custom restrictions on your file fields — limiting uploads to certain extensions, blocking risky file types, or capping the file size per field. This gives you fine-grained control over what users are allowed to upload.
