Do Files Count Against Record Storage
No — file storage and record storage are tracked separately on Tadabase. Uploaded files (images, PDFs, attachments, etc.) count toward your plan's file storage allotment, not toward your record count.
Your record count is based on the rows you have across all your data tables, regardless of whether those records contain file attachments.
You can see your current file storage usage and your record count from your app dashboard. If you find yourself running close to the limit on either one, you can upgrade your plan at any time — or, for files specifically, switch to your own S3 bucket for unlimited capacity.
We'd love to hear your feedback.
