Does Ai Cost Extra

AI usage in Tadabase is usage-based. Every plan includes an allotment of AI tokens or credits each month that you can spend across your apps and prompts. For most builders, the included allotment is enough to power day-to-day automations and content generation at no extra cost.

If your usage goes beyond your plan's allotment, additional usage may incur overage charges based on the model you use - smaller models like GPT-4o-mini cost less per token than larger models like GPT-4. You can monitor your usage from inside the builder, so there are no surprises.

If you bring your own API key, AI calls are billed directly by the provider (e.g., OpenAI) and don't count toward your Tadabase AI allotment. See the AI Prompts Complete Guide for details on managing usage.
