Can I Trigger A Rule From A Button

Yes. Buttons are one of the most common ways to trigger automation in a Tadabase app. There are two main approaches.

Action Links are buttons you add to a table, list, or details component. Each Action Link can run a chain of actions like updating the record, sending an email, calling a Pipe, running an AI prompt, redirecting, or showing a confirmation message - all from a single click.

For forms, Submit Rules and Action Rules run when the user clicks the form's submit button, letting you do things like send notifications, update connected records, or branch the redirect based on what was entered.

Between Action Links on records and Submit/Action Rules on forms, almost any button in your app can drive a full automation behind the scenes.
