Equation Logs

Equations are likely the most powerful part of your application and are also the biggest cause for lags. It's helpful to periodically view the logs to understand more deeply what's causing your records to save slower. 

If records are loading slowly, that's not likely related to equation logs. Equation logs will help you understand better why record updates are taking longer. 

Viewing Equation Logs

You can view equation logs from two places: 

• Field Level
• App Level

Field Field Level Equation Logs

To view the logs of a specific equation open the field in question and click on the Logs icon: 

You'll see a popup with details of everytime this equation had to be processed and how long it took to process. 

App Level Equation Logs

To view app level equation logs which gives you the overall staticstics as well as the biggest and most triggered equations, naviate to Settings > Logs > Equation Logs. 

You'll see an Overview tab and Logs tab. The Overview is meant to show you a birdseye view of the equations processed while the log will show a details list of these euqations.
