Accessing your Published Application
What is a Published Application or Live App?
Your published application, or the live app, refers to the application that is made up of all the parts and pieces you've created in the Tadabase Builder, primarily the Pages created in the Page Builder that allow for the interaction with data from the Data Builder.
How do I access my App?
During the process of your building your application, you'll want to make sure that what you're building looks and acts the way you intend by visiting and testing your published application. When building your application in Tadabase, every time you save a Page in the Page Builder, your application is updated and a new version is published automatically.
To view your published application, you can click the green Preview button in the upper right-hand corner of the Builder. This button is present at all times, on all pages throughout the Builder. Clicking this button will take you directly to the app Home Page.
To view your published application when viewing a specific page in the Page Builder, there is an additional preview button located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
How do I find my app URL?
The default app URL for accessing your published application can be found by checking the browser address bar after previewing a page from the Builder.
If you need to modify the URL by changing the App Slug or add a Custom Domain, your app domain settings can be found by navigating to Settings / Domain Settings.
The URL structure of your application is as follows:
https://emailDomain-randomString.tadabase.io/appName
You can change the emailDomain-randomString section of the live app URL inside your Tadabase Account Profile.
Custom Domains
A custom domain is a personalized web address that you can use for your Tadabase app instead of the default Tadabase domain. It allows you to have a unique and branded web presence for your app. You might use a custom domain to enhance your brand identity, make your app more professional, or create a seamless user experience by aligning your app with your existing website or domain.
To use a Custom Domain, you must meet the following requirements:
- You own the domain name
- You have access to the DNS settings for the domain name
- Your app is subscribed to a plan that support custom domains
