Rich Text
What is a Rich Text Field?
Rich TextΒ fieldsΒ are basic field types that contain HTML or other custom text that can be formatted using a WYSIWYG editor.
Field Options
Creating or editing a Rich Text field will have the following options to configure:
Name
This setting allows you to name your rich text field.Β
Description
This setting allows you to optionally provide a brief description of this field for your own reference.Β
Placeholder
This setting allows you to enter placeholder text to automatically populate within this field's box when a form loads. Placeholders can be useful for providing instructions, such as "Please enter text here." When a user begins to type within the field box, the placeholder text will disappear and be overwritten.Β

Rich Text Restrictions
When exporting records to a CSV, Rich Text fields will show the raw HTML stored within the field. This allows for importing back to a Rich Text if necessary.
